Muse Food is filled with weekly writing prompts. Check in every Monday for a themed writing prompt, several sentence prompts, and a handful of word prompts.

Practice makes perfect, or so annoyingly good people tend to say. I say perfection is a myth, like twu luv, or koalas. But it doesn’t hurt to work a bit at becoming better. Educational articles, tips, tricks, and testimonials from other writers on how to evolve your writing into mythical perfection. Peer in every Tuesday for some First Class ideas to test your literary skills against.

Just how does one live a writer’s life? Buried in notebooks, hounded by ornery characters demanding stories of their own, battling fearsome writers’ blocks and procrastination pirates. Stop by on Wednesdays for posts on living the Write Life.

Not everything about writing is trials and tribulations. There are also successes and eureka moments (preferably without the streaking). That's when you experience a moment of Writer's Sphere, the polar opposite of a Writer's Block. Take a peek in on Thursdays to see what the latest tales of success and inspiration are.

I love to read. Primarily I enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, and YA books, both old and new. But I’ve also been known to read philosophy, lit fic, classic lit, horror, paranormal, thriller, mystery, and really anything that people toss at my head. Need a suggestion on what to read? Stop by on Fridays for my latest Recommended Reading. Want me to read something specific, let me know in my Read These or the Owl Will Eat You post.
