The conclusion to an incredible trilogy. Will the Inkheart world finally have a happy ending, or will Death have the final laugh? With so many writers and readers in the story, anything is possible.

We return to the trials and tribulations from the world of Inkheart as Dustfinger continues to hunt for a way back home, and Meggie (I think Ms. Funke swapped out that a for an e just to confuse readers and confuzzle reviewers) battles with how to live in the regular world after seeing what's possible with the power of words and whether she should use her powers of bringing life to books simply by reading out loud.

A book about a family that can bring books to life just by reading them out loud. Literally, bringing characters off the page and into our world, for better or worse. Sounds frickin' cool, until you factor in that for every friendly character and mountain of treasure, you could just as easily get a diabolical mastermind or a very angry dragon.

Another intriguing piece by Estuary Publications, this time by one Henry Edward Fool. Trial by Guest is a narrative wandering through the tribulations of working for a family-owned, privately-run French hotel and the various hurdles involved in dealing with guests. Despite there being no plot, each chapter comes alive through Fool's descriptions and illustrative narration.

This one starts off even more dramatically than the first book, Wren to the Rescue, with several deaths. Instigating a multi-kingdom war, Andreus seems to be going all out in this book, a complete reversal from the previous book, Wren's Quest.
